Gaza Herald – The Hamas Movement denounced Israeli strikes across Gaza, calling the attacks that killed seven civilians, mostly children, within 24 hours a “serious criminal escalation.” The movement said the bombardment violated the ceasefire agreement and aimed to sabotage the transition to its second phase.
In a statement, Hamas urged mediators and guarantor states to condemn the violations, describing them as orchestrated by “war criminal Netanyahu” under pretenses. The group demanded pressure on Israel to comply with the ceasefire, reopen the Rafah crossing in both directions, and allow humanitarian aid and shelter supplies.
The continuous Israeli strikes included air raids and artillery shelling targeting multiple areas, including tents and homes sheltering displaced Palestinians. Civil defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal reported that civilians were deliberately targeted during these attacks.
Since the ceasefire began in October 2025, ongoing Israeli violations have killed 425 Palestinians and injured 1,206, while two years of prior aggression left over 71,000 killed, 171,000 wounded, and destroyed most of Gaza’s infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated at $70 billion by the UN.
