Israeli Drone Strike Kills Two Displaced Palestinians in Southern Gaza

Gaza Herald – An Israeli drone strike targeted a displacement tent in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killing two Palestinians and wounding four others. The strike hit a tent sheltering displaced civilians, causing immediate casualties and panic in the area.

The attack came as part of what Israeli sources described as retaliation for an explosive device detonation that occurred in Khan Younis two weeks earlier. Israeli media reported that the airstrike was intended to target a resistance operative, but the strike resulted in civilian killings and injuries inside the tent.

Earlier in the day, a Palestinian child was also injured by Israeli army gunfire near Al-Shurafa Roundabout in eastern Gaza City, reflecting a broader escalation in attacks affecting civilians across multiple areas of the Strip.

The incidents underscored the ongoing danger facing displaced families in Gaza, where tents and civilian shelters continued to be struck amid intensified military operations, despite the absence of safe zones for those forced from their homes.
