Gaza Herald – Ten Palestinian detainees have reached the Gaza Strip after being released from Israeli jails on Monday evening.
The newly released prisoners arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah for medical evaluation following their detention. Their arrival came amid ongoing concerns over the physical condition of released detainees after prolonged incarceration.
Medical sources reported that the detainees showed signs of exhaustion and required immediate health checks upon arrival. Hospital staff began providing treatment and assessments as part of emergency intake procedures, amid strained medical capacity across the Strip.
The development occurred as Gaza’s health system continued to operate under severe pressure, with limited resources and overcrowded facilities. The arrival of released detainees added to the growing humanitarian burden facing hospitals in central Gaza.
