Gaza Herald – Israel continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, accelerating a severe humanitarian and services breakdown across the Strip, according to Gaza’s Al-Dameer Human Rights Foundation.
The violations came as living conditions deteriorated sharply for civilians already struggling to survive the aftermath of Israel’s war.
Alaa Skafi, director of Al-Dameer, said around 80 percent of trucks entering Gaza were diverted into the commercial market, with aid sold at inflated prices far beyond what Palestinians could afford. He warned that this practice effectively stripped humanitarian assistance of its purpose and denied families access to essential supplies.
Skafi also cautioned of an imminent health catastrophe, saying Al-Awda Hospital was expected to halt medical services within hours due to fuel shortages. Such a shutdown, he said, would cripple lifesaving care and push Gaza’s shattered healthcare system toward total paralysis.
