Gaza Faces Deepening Humanitarian Collapse as Aid Blockade Persists

Gaza Herald – UNRWA said conditions across Gaza remained dire, with humanitarian needs soaring as families continued to suffer from acute food shortages and widespread destruction caused by sustained Israeli attacks and restrictions.

The agency reported that around 1.6 million people were facing severe food insecurity, while displaced UNRWA teams continued working on the ground under extreme and dangerous conditions to support affected families.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s Ministry of Health warned that the Strip was on the brink of a full-scale health catastrophe due to Israel’s continued obstruction of medical supplies and restrictions on the evacuation of patients.

The ministry’s director-general said at least 320,000 children under the age of five were at risk of acute malnutrition, underscoring the life-threatening impact of Israel’s ongoing blockade on Gaza’s most vulnerable population.
