Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced the death of a two-week-old infant, Mohammad Khalil Abu Al-Khair, after his body temperature dropped sharply due to extreme cold.
The baby was admitted to intensive care two days earlier but succumbed yesterday, becoming another victim of Israel’s ongoing genocide and the collapse of basic living conditions imposed by the Israeli occupation.
The ministry reported that two Palestinians were killed and six others injured over the past 24 hours, as hospitals continue to receive victims amid widespread destruction and shortages. Since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, at least 393 Palestinians have been killed, 1,074 injured, and 634 bodies recovered from under the rubble.
Overall, the death toll from Israel’s genocide in Gaza has risen to 70,667 Palestinians killed and 171,151 injured since October 7, 2023. Health officials stress that many victims remain buried beneath destroyed homes, while civilians, especially infants, are dying from cold, hunger, and the deliberate denial of shelter and aid by the Israeli occupation.
