Gaza Herald- The Israeli military continues to kill and injure Palestinians daily, with an average of seven killed and 18 wounded on a daily basis since the ceasefire began on October 10, 2025, the Gaza Center for Human Rights (GCHR) has reported on Thursday.
The group said this pattern highlights the continuation of Israel’s systematic campaign of violence against Palestinians.
The GCHR further said the Israeli army maintains a consistent pattern of killings and targeted attacks despite repeated claims of a ceasefire. The organization has documented 368 Palestinians killed and 932 wounded over the past 54 days, showing that the violence continues unabated.
It warned that shifting the yellow line inward allows Israeli forces to seize more land, leaving Palestinians barred from nearly sixty percent of the area and facing greater movement restrictions and social-economic fragmentation.
The Center stated that a recent Israeli strike on tents housing displaced families in Al-Mawasi on the evening of Wednesday, October 3, 2025, killed five members of a single family, including two women and two children. The victims were living in a displacement tent and included Ghada Mahmoud Abu Hussein, 48; Fathi Fawzi Abu Hussein, 36; Israa Mohammed Abu Hussein, 29; and two children, Mohammed, 10, and Bilal, 8.
The GCHR condemned the recent Israeli strike on displaced families, calling it part of a systematic policy targeting areas meant to be safe. It warned that continued attacks expose civilians to fear and collective punishment, creating harsh living conditions that force many to leave Gaza.
The GCHR also urged the international community to protect civilians, stop repeated violations, prevent demographic changes in Gaza, and hold perpetrators accountable through international investigations and the International Criminal Court.
