Gaza Herald – Palestinian resistance groups, Saraya al-Quds and al-Qassam Brigades, said they will hand over the body of an Israeli captive recovered in central Gaza as part of the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner-exchange framework.
The transfer is scheduled for 4 p.m. Gaza time, amid ongoing negotiations shaped by Israel’s genocide and continued violations of the ceasefire.
The brigades said the body was located during operations in the central Strip, underscoring the complexity of the battlefield after two years of Israeli bombings, tunnel collapses, and mass destruction.
Officials noted that Israel continues to hold hundreds of Palestinians in brutal detention conditions, while Gaza’s resistance maintains that any exchange must address the suffering of thousands imprisoned throughout the genocide.
