Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) said the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) acted as a false humanitarian cover that helped lure starving Palestinians into “organized death traps,” accusing the entity of partnering with the
American-Israeli apparatus to engineer starvation and mass killing under the guise of aid distribution.
Officials said verified data showed that Israel turned GHF aid sites into killing zones, where civilians were deliberately targeted while waiting for food. According to the media office, 2,615 Palestinians were killed from starvation-related causes and 19,182 were injured, including 1,506 killed while standing in aid lines, and 1,109 killed inside the American-Israeli centers themselves by gunfire and shelling. Among the martyrs were 225 children, 852 adults, and 32 elderly people.
Gaza authorities said these so-called humanitarian centers functioned as sites of entrapment, field executions, and systematic starvation, not places of protection. The office accused Israel, GHF officials, and U.S. sponsors of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, forming part of a genocide carried out through deliberate deprivation of food.
GHF opened its first “aid center” in May 2025, claiming to offer orderly distribution, but Gaza officials said the true goal was to control movement and funnel civilians into exposed zones that Israel could easily target. The four centers, including Tel al-Sultan in Rafah, the Morag passage, another Rafah site, and a location in northern al-Bureij, all became deadly traps for displaced, starving Palestinians.
The Government Media Office said it will continue documenting these crimes for international prosecution, stressing that all parties involved in the scheme will be pursued legally and held accountable.
