Gaza Herald – The Government Media Office (GMO) warned that the Strip is facing one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes in modern history, as the ongoing Israeli genocide and blockade have created a critical shortage of tents, food, medicine, and shelter for displaced families.
The GMO stressed that the health system is “on the verge of total collapse,” urging immediate international intervention.
The GMO called on all countries to pressure Israel to allow aid into Gaza without delay, stressing that the shortage of shelter, medical supplies, and basic necessities has pushed more than two million Palestinians into an unlivable reality.
“The world must rise to force the occupation to open the crossings and let life-saving aid in,” the statement said.
