Gaza Herald – Israeli forces have carried out new waves of bombing and home demolitions across the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, in yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement. Since dawn, artillery and airstrikes have targeted neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Deir al-Balah, reducing residential blocks to rubble as families shelter with no safe place to flee.
Residents reported Israeli warplanes launching intense fire belts over Al-Tuffah and Al-Shaaf districts, while artillery shelled the eastern outskirts of Gaza City and Khan Younis. In central Gaza, homes near eastern Deir al-Balah were hit, and Israeli naval forces opened fire along the coast of Rafah in the south.
These operations are part of a continued campaign of destruction that has persisted despite the ceasefire announced on October 10. Since the ceasefire began, at least 241 Palestinians have been killed and more than 607 injured due to Israel’s repeated attacks, alongside the recovery of 511 more bodies from beneath destroyed homes.
The ongoing genocide has now killed 68,872 Palestinians and wounded 170,677 since October 7, 2023, with vast neighborhoods erased, families wiped out, and Gaza’s population facing displacement, starvation, and unrelenting violence under the cover of international silence.
