Gaza Herald – Israeli forces have killed a young Palestinian man in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, after launching a drone strike, a new breach in the series of Israeli violations since the ceasefire took effect. Military vehicles also opened heavy machine-gun fire in the area as explosions from the demolition of residential buildings echoed across the city.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the total number of bodies recovered since the ceasefire began has reached 432 martyrs, including 13 in the past 24 hours, seven killed in direct Israeli attacks and six recovered from beneath the rubble. Many victims remain trapped under the debris as rescue teams struggle to reach them due to the ongoing bombardment and widespread destruction.
According to the ministry, the overall death toll from Israel’s genocide campaign, launched on October 7, 2023, has now surged to 68,229 Palestinians killed and 170,369 wounded. The vast majority of the victims are women and children, highlighting the deliberate and systematic nature of the Israeli attacks.
Since the truce came into effect on October 10, 2025, Israel has violated the ceasefire more than 80 times, killing 80 Palestinians, injuring 311, and returning 165 mutilated bodies via the Red Cross, grim evidence of the occupation’s continued war crimes under the guise of a “ceasefire.”
