Israel Massacres Palestinian Family in New Ceasefire Violation in Gaza

Gaza Herald – In another grave violation of the ceasefire, Israeli forces bombed a vehicle carrying displaced Palestinians and wiped out an entire family in Gaza City’s Zaytun neighborhood.

According to Palestinian reports, Israeli artillery targeted a car carrying members of Abu Shaaban family as they attempted to return to their home, killing and wounding them. Most of the victims were women and children from the same family, in what witnesses described as a “scene of utter devastation.”

The attack took place near the so-called “Yellow Line,” a demarcation Israel established after its partial withdrawal under the ceasefire terms. Despite the declared truce, Israel continues to target civilians under the pretext of “security threats,” perpetuating what human rights experts describe as an ongoing genocidal campaign against Gaza’s population.

The victims included: Ihab Nasser Abu Shaaban (38), his wife Randa Majid Muhammad Abu Shaaban (36) and their children Nasser Ihab Abu Shaaban (13), Jumana Ihab Abu Shaaban (10), Ibrahim Ihab Abu Shaaban ((6), and Muhammad Ihab Abu Shaaban (5). The attack also killed his sister Samer Muhammad Nasser Shaaban, her husband Sufyan Othman Shaaban, and their three children Nesma Sufyan Shaaban (12), Karam Sufyan Shaaban (10), and Anas Sufyan Shaaban (8).

Local authorities and rights groups condemned the assault as part of a systematic pattern of ceasefire violations aimed at terrorizing displaced families and obstructing their return.

The massacre underscores that even during periods of supposed calm, Israel’s war on Gaza remains relentless, with families once again paying the ultimate price.
