Gaza Herald – In the early hours of Friday, Israeli occupation forces began pulling back from multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, including Khan Younis and parts of Gaza City, according to Gaza’s Civil Defence.
Mohammed al-Mughayyir, a senior official in the agency, confirmed that Israeli military vehicles had withdrawn from several urban zones long devastated by months of relentless bombardment and invasion.
Large numbers of displaced families have since started moving cautiously toward the northern regions of Gaza, attempting to return to their destroyed neighborhoods.
In central Gaza’s Nuseirat camp, hundreds of civilians are making their way north, waiting for confirmation that Israeli forces have fully withdrawn from the Netzarim Corridor, a site of intense military operations throughout the genocide.
Despite reports of withdrawals, the sky over Gaza remains filled with the constant buzz of Israeli drones and the sound of warplanes and naval fire.
Several attacks were recorded this morning near gathering points where displaced Palestinians awaited clearance to return home. For many, the so-called “withdrawal” offers no safety yet, only another uncertain chapter in a war that has already reduced most of Gaza to ashes.
