Israeli Forces Shoot Nurse in the Head Inside Gaza Hospital

Gaza Herald – Israeli forces have shot a Palestinian nurse in the head while he was on duty inside Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, leaving him critically injured. The attack marks yet another direct assault on medical workers and facilities which is a blatant war crime under international law.

This incident comes amid a wider pattern of systematic strikes on Gaza’s collapsing health sector. According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, Israeli forces have bombed hospitals and medical staff 788 times since October 7, killing at least 1,670 doctors, nurses, and paramedics and destroying nearly 200 ambulances.

The repeated targeting of hospitals has pushed Gaza’s healthcare system to the brink of total collapse. With most facilities damaged, besieged, or running out of essential supplies, thousands of patients are being deprived of lifesaving treatment as Israel continues its campaign of annihilation.
