Israel Issues New Evacuation Orders, Doubt Over “Safe Corridors”

Gaza Herald – Israel’s military has once again issued a so-called “urgent notice” to Gaza City residents, claiming that Salah al-Din Road is open as a safe corridor for civilians to flee south.

The statement declared the road would remain open until 12:00 p.m. today and urged families to follow specific routes marked in yellow on military-issued maps.

But this is not the first time. Just two days ago, Israel released the same statement, promising that Salah al-Din would open, yet the road never did.

Families who waited for relief were left stranded under bombardment, proving that these announcements are nothing more than psychological warfare dressed up as humanitarian concern.

In reality, civilians in Gaza are given impossible choices: remain trapped under fire in their homes or risk killing on so-called “safe routes” that either do not exist or become fresh targets the moment people gather there.

The repeated falsehoods reveal a brutal pattern, so Israel weaponizes evacuation orders to sow panic, exhaust families, and force mass displacement while striking those who try to comply.

The clock Israel sets on “safe passage” is nothing but a countdown to more terror. Every promise of safety is betrayed by bombs, every so-called corridor leads to another trap. Salah al-Din Road has become a symbol not of escape but of deception, a cruel reminder that in Gaza today, even survival is turned into a lie.
