From Darkness to Fire: A Night of Blood and Bombs in Gaza City

Gaza Herald- The Israeli forces launched a wave of deadly airstrikes and artillery attacks across Gaza City overnight, leaving at least 18 Palestinians dead, more than 40 wounded, and dozens still missing beneath the rubble of destroyed homes.

Warplanes struck residential buildings belonging to the Zaqout, Hammad, and Balousha families near the Public Security Junction, killing eight people, injuring dozens, and leaving many unaccounted for.

In the Al-Daraj neighborhood, six more Palestinians were killed when missiles hit the homes of the Taha and Masoud families in the Bani Amer area. Emergency crews continue digging through the rubble in search of survivors, as residents brace for a higher death toll.

Another four Palestinians were killed in the Al-Sabra neighborhood after Israeli jets bombed the home of the Hindi family in the Khudriyah district.

The Al-Shati refugee camp also came under attack, with several members of the Siyam family injured when their home was hit near Al-A’aliya School.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out demolition operations around Birkat Sheikh Radwan, blowing up residential buildings in an already overcrowded area. Israeli artillery pounded Sheikh Radwan, Al-Karama, and Al-Saftawi neighborhoods, while drones fired on civilians using “Quadcopter” machines.

In addition, airstrikes targeted agricultural lands north of the Intelligence compound and in the Al-Karama area, further crippling Gaza’s already fragile food supply.
