Gaza Herald- An Israeli special forces unit has arrested the director of field hospitals Dr. Marwan Al-Hams in southern Gaza.
Dr. Al-Hams was in a visit to the Red Cross Hospital west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, when the Israeli forces abducted him.
Dr Al-Hams is the director of Abu Yousef al-Najjar Hospital, who is responsible for managing field hospitals, and the spokesperson for the Health Ministry.
Commenting on the incident, the Health Ministry condemned in the strongest terms its spokesman’s kidnapping by a special armed unit on Monday afternoon.
“This is a dangerous precedent that represents a direct targeting of the voices of the patients and starved people in the Gaza Strip, the ministry said.
