Gaza Herald- The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that 7 Palestinians were killed and 25 others injured during the past 48 hours as a result of the continuing Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip.
According to the ministry, the victims included six newly killed Palestinians and one person who succumbed to previous injuries, while medical teams continue to receive casualties under extremely challenging conditions.
The ministry said several victims remain trapped beneath rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them due to ongoing attacks and dangerous field conditions.
Official figures show that since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, the death toll has reached 929 Palestinians killed and 2,811 injured, in addition to 781 bodies recovered from devastated areas.
Since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, the cumulative toll has risen to 72,938 Palestinians killed and 172,919 injured.
The ministry also noted that 112 additional deaths were recently added to the official toll after their cases were verified and approved by the Martyrs Verification Committee since the beginning of May.
