Gaza Witnesses New Bloody Night Following Relentless Ceasefire Violations

Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, following a night marked by several deadly attacks that killed 13 Palestinians.

The escalation came amid ongoing military attacks and repeated bombardments across different areas of the territory despite the ceasefire that has been in place since October 10, 2025.

According to local reports, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy machine-gun fire toward the eastern areas of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The gunfire was accompanied by artillery shelling targeting the same eastern districts, causing renewed fear among residents living near the border areas and displacement zones.

In Gaza City, Israeli military vehicles also reportedly fired intensively toward the eastern neighborhoods of the city. Meanwhile, artillery shelling targeted areas north of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, continuing a pattern of near-daily attacks and military activity in multiple regions.

The latest incidents followed a series of Israeli strikes carried out on Wednesday, which resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians. Among those reported killed was the son of senior Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya.

Residents and local observers say the repeated shelling, gunfire, and destruction have turned the ceasefire into a fragile and unstable reality, with civilians continuing to face daily insecurity, displacement, and fear of broader escalation.
