Detention Locations of 35 Gaza Detainees Revealed

Gaza Herald – The Palestinian Prisoners’ Information Office announced that it has identified the detention locations of 35 detainees from the Gaza Strip held in Israeli detention camps, based on official responses received from the Israeli military.

The office stated that while these details provide some clarity, many Gaza detainees remain victims of enforced disappearance, with Israeli authorities continuing to withhold information about their places of detention or their conditions.

According to the available data, the identified detainees are being held across several facilities, most notably Megiddo Prison, Sde Teiman detention camp, the Negev (Naqab) Prison, and Nafha prison.

The office stressed that the disclosed names represent only a small portion of Gaza detainees, as a significant number are still held in undisclosed locations without transparency regarding their fate.

As of early April 2026, the total number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli custody has exceeded 9,600, including 86 women and around 350 children. The number of administrative detainees, held without formal charges or trial, has reached 3,532, while 1,251 civilians are classified by Israeli authorities as “unlawful combatants.”

These figures do not include all detainees from Gaza held in military camps, indicating that the actual number is likely considerably higher.
