One Killed, Several Injured as Israeli Forces Target Eastern Gaza

Gaza Herald – One Palestinian was killed and several others were injured on Wednesday after an Israeli drone bombed civilians attempting to clear the rubble of their home on Old Gaza Street in Jabalia al-Balad, northern Gaza.

Additional injuries were reported in northern Gaza as a result of Israeli gunfire. According to local sources, several civilians were wounded after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in Halawa Camp.

The Gaza Strip also witnessed artillery shelling targeting multiple areas in its eastern regions, as Israeli occupation forces continued violations of the ceasefire agreement.

Local reporters stated that Israeli artillery struck Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City earlier in the day. In the southern part of the Strip, heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles targeted eastern and southern areas of Khan Younis, accompanied by intense tank fire.

These incidents come amid continued escalation, as seven Palestinians were reported killed on the previous day, including one who succumbed to earlier injuries sustained during ongoing attacks.

Israeli occupation forces have continued to breach the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which has been in effect since October of last year, through ongoing airstrikes, artillery shelling, and live fire targeting civilian areas.
