Gaza Herald – Five Palestinians, including two women, were killed on Tuesday as Israeli occupation forces continued violations of the ceasefire across the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that a woman was killed this morning after Israeli forces opened fire on tents sheltering displaced civilians in Al-Atatra area in northern Gaza. She was transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
In southern Gaza, Palestinian woman Rasha Abu Jazar died this morning from wounds sustained a day earlier after being shot by Israeli forces.
Earlier at dawn, three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike targeting a security checkpoint in the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Younis. The victims were identified as Darwish Saeb Darwish Al-Attal (29), Saad Abdullah Hassan Abu Hilal (40), and Majed Alaa Abu Mousa.
According to local reports, Al-Attal had married just one day before he was killed in the strike.
Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement through ongoing airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting civilian areas, including locations where displaced civilians are sheltering, in addition to demolition operations within what is known as the “yellow line” and continued restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.
According to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began on October 10 has risen to 780, with 2,193 injuries and 761 bodies recovered.
The total death toll since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,556, with 172,296 injured, reflecting the high human cost of the ongoing genocide on Gaza.
