Israeli Collaborators Killed, Wounded in Armed Clashes with Palestinian Resistance

Gaza Herald – Several individuals described as Israeli collaborators were killed and others wounded on Monday after being targeted in an ambush carried out by Palestinian resistance in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, three vehicles linked to these collaborators attempted to infiltrate near Abu Hamid Square in central Khan Younis. They were detected by resistance security units, which engaged them and directly struck one of the vehicles with a projectile, setting it on fire and killing and injuring those inside.

The sources added that clashes erupted in the area following the attack. Israeli aircraft and drones reportedly intervened quickly to cover the withdrawal of the remaining collaborators, while helicopter fire and artillery shelling were used during the extraction.

Footage and images taken by civilians in the vicinity showed a burning vehicle and individuals fleeing the scene, along with sounds of ongoing gunfire exchanges.

An Israeli security source had previously acknowledged in October that the Israeli army provides military support to armed groups operating in Gaza. According to the source, cited by Maariv, the army and the Shin Bet maintain contact with these armed groups, allow them to operate in areas east of the “yellow line” under Israeli control, and provide them protection, including by targeting resistance pursuing them.
