Gaza Herald – Four Palestinians were killed and several others were injured early Sunday following an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of security personnel in eastern Gaza City.
The Civil Defense reported that the victims and wounded were transferred to Al-Ahli (Baptist) Hospital and Al-Shifa Hospital after the strike hit Al-Tuffah neighborhood. Witnesses said an Israeli drone targeted a gathering near Al-Shawa Square in the area.
Hours earlier, another Palestinian was killed and three others were injured in a separate drone strike that targeted a vehicle in central Gaza. Meanwhile, artillery shelling and gunfire were reported across multiple areas, including eastern Jabalia and eastern Khan Younis, alongside intermittent fire from Israeli military vehicles.
Israeli naval boats also opened fire toward the coast of Rafah in the south, while additional areas northeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp came under fire.
The incidents occur amid ongoing ceasefire violations since October 11, 2025. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the Israeli breaches have left 713 Palestinians killed and 1,943 injured.
Since the beginning of the genocide on October 7, 2023, more than 72,000 Palestinians have been killed and approximately 172,000 injured, with widespread destruction affecting nearly 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure.
