Gaza Herald – Six Palestinians were killed and several others injured early Sunday in an Israeli airstrike targeting two Palestinian police points in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement.
Local sources reported that Israeli aircraft hit two police checkpoints, killing three police officers and three displaced civilians, including a girl, and injuring at least four others.
The attack comes as Israeli occupation forces continue to breach the ceasefire for the 171st consecutive day, while maintaining a tight blockade on the Gaza Strip, home to more than two million Palestinians, and restricting the entry of humanitarian and medical aid.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, at least 692 Palestinians have been killed, with 1,895 injured and 756 bodies recovered. The overall death toll since the war began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,568, with 171,995 wounded.
The Government Media Office in Gaza documented 2,073 ceasefire violations between October 2025 and March 18, 2026, resulting in hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries, mostly all of them are displaced civilians.
