A Palestinian Killed, Others Injured Amid Heavy Israeli Gunfire and Demolitions in Gaza

Gaza Herald- A Palestinian citizen was killed and several others were injured on Saturday by Israeli occupation forces in multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, as demolition operations and artillery shelling continued.

According to Gaza Herald correspondent, one person was killed and others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on Old Gaza Street in Jabalia al-Balad, northern Gaza.

Another citizen was reported injured by Israeli gunfire near the Jaser Building in central Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Several other injuries occurred from Israeli shelling in Jabalia in northern Gaza, and another injury was reported in the Al-Salatin area west of Beit Lahia.

Our correspondent noted that the occupation forces demolished residential buildings east of Khan Younis, while heavy gunfire erupted again from military vehicles in the same area.

Helicopter gunfire was also reported in eastern Khan Younis, and similarly in Rafah.

In Gaza City, artillery shelling targeted the eastern areas, accompanied by gunfire from Israeli helicopters. The artillery also struck other eastern parts of the city.

The Israeli army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which has been in effect since October of last year.

Although the second phase of the agreement began last week, the occupation forces have not implemented its terms on the ground.

Since the start of the ceasefire violations in Gaza on October 10, the Israeli army has killed more than 477 Palestinian civilians.
