Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Health Ministry said seven Palestinians were killed and four others wounded over the past 24 hours, as Israeli attacks and harsh winter conditions continued to exact a deadly toll on civilians across the besieged enclave.
The ministry reported the deaths of a seven-day-old infant and a four-year-old child due to extreme cold, raising the number of children who have died from hypothermia since the start of winter to six.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, health authorities said at least 442 Palestinians have been killed, 1,240 injured, and 697 bodies recovered from under the rubble, underscoring continued violations and delayed rescue efforts.
Cumulatively, since the start of the genocide in October 2023, Gaza’s death toll has reached 71,419 Palestinians, with 171,318 wounded, according to official figures, as the humanitarian catastrophe deepened under ongoing attacks, blockade conditions, and exposure-related deaths.
