Gaza Herald – The head of criminal investigations in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, was killed in a shooting incident on Monday morning, the Ministry of Interior and National Security announced.
Authorities said the attack occurred in al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis. The officer was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Security forces are investigating the circumstances of the shooting. Details regarding the perpetrators or motives have not yet been released.
