Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Ministry of Health reports that three Palestinians were killed and nine others wounded over the past 48 hours, underscoring the continued human cost despite the ceasefire declared in October.
The ministry said hospitals across the Strip received the casualties amid ongoing violations, bringing the total since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, to 442 killed and 1,236 injured, in addition to 688 bodies recovered from the rubble during the same period.
Since the start of Israel’s genocide on October 7, 2023, cumulative figures have risen to 71,412 Palestinians killed and 171,314 wounded, while many victims remain trapped under debris or lying in the streets, unreachable due to the collapse of rescue and civil defense capacity.
The ministry also confirmed the death of a two-month-old infant from extreme cold, raising the number of children who have died from hypothermia this winter to four, as Gaza’s humanitarian crisis deepens under siege and aid restrictions.
