Gaza Herald – Eleven Palestinians were injured after Israeli airstrike struck a group of civilians near Al-Samer intersection in central Gaza City. Ambulance crews at Al-Ahli Arab (Al-Maamadani) Hospital rescued six wounded people from the scene, one of them in critical condition.
Five additional injured civilians were transferred to Al-Saraya Field Hospital, bringing the total number of injuries in the incident to eleven. Medical sources said the wounded included people who were in the area at the time of the strike, with emergency teams working under difficult conditions to evacuate them.
Israeli army radio later quoted a security source claiming the incident was caused by a projectile that “deviated from its path,” denying it was an airstrike. Palestinian sources reject the narrative, stressing that Israeli occupation fire continues to endanger civilians in Gaza, even as densely populated areas remain under constant threat.
