Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced that the number of Palestinians killed in the ongoing genocide carried out by the Israeli occupation has risen to 70,665 since 7 October 2023, after hospitals received two new killed victims and six wounded over the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed that since the ceasefire took effect on 11 October, Israeli occupation forces have killed 393 Palestinians, wounded 1,068, and that 632 victims’ bodies from beneath the rubble of destroyed homes.
Overall figures show 171,145 wounded, while many additional victims remain buried under debris or lying in the streets, unreachable due to massive destruction and the lack of heavy rescue equipment caused by Israeli attacks.
The ministry stressed that most killed victims are children and women, noting that the Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire by restricting food and medical supplies, forcing 2.4 million Palestinians to endure catastrophic living conditions amid the systematic destruction of Gaza’s infrastructure.
