Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Health Ministry warns that medical supplies have fallen to catastrophic zero-stock levels as Israel’s genocide continues to generate mass casualties. According to the ministry, 52% of essential medicines, 71% of medical consumables, and 70% of laboratory supplies are now completely unavailable.
Officials said the collapse is worsening as the number of injured and ill rises daily. Critical services, including primary care, surgery, intensive care, oncology, hematology, orthopedics, dialysis, ophthalmology, and emergency operations, are being pushed to the brink due to the severe shortage of medicines and life-saving consumables.
The ministry is urgently calling for immediate medical resupply to prevent further deaths and to keep specialized departments functioning as the health system faces unprecedented breakdown.
