Gaza Herald – Eight members of armed gangs backed by Israel have surrendered to Gaza’s resistance authorities in the past hours, following the announcement of a 10-day amnesty window.
According to security officials, the handover was voluntary and facilitated through direct coordination with families and tribal leaders who withdrew social protection from those involved.
Authorities said the window for surrender remains open, urging all remaining wanted individuals to come forward and resolve their cases under established procedures. The resistance leadership said the process aims to prevent further instability created by groups supported by the occupation.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, backed by the United States and Europe, has carried out a genocide in Gaza that includes mass killings, starvation, forced displacement, destruction, and widespread detention, ignoring international appeals and rulings by the International Court of Justice.
The genocide has left over 239,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, including thousands of missing people, alongside mass famine, widespread displacement, and the near-erasure of entire cities across the Strip.
