Gaza Herald- Two Palestinian children were killed amid ongoing Israeli airstrikes and home demolitions in eastern Khan Younis and several other areas across Gaza.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli drones dropped a bomb on a gathering of civilians near Al-Farabi School in the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis, killing the two siblings, Jumaa and Fadi Tamer Abu Asi.
Medical sources at Nasser Hospital reported that the two children were transferred to the medical complex with severe injuries, and were later declared killed.
Since the ceasefire, Bani Suhaila and other areas in Gaza have faced repeated Israeli attacks, including airstrikes and artillery fire, resulting in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of Palestinians.
The Israeli army has intensified airstrikes, artillery shelling, and the destruction of buildings across four Gaza cities, continuing violations of the ceasefire that began on October 10.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with U.S. and European support, has carried out large-scale attacks in Gaza, causing massive casualties, displacement, famine, and destruction, predominantly affecting children and women, despite international appeals and court orders.
