Three Palestinians Killed, Others Injured by Israeli Fire in Eastern Khan Younis and Gaza City

Gaza Herald- Three Palestinians were martyred and at least two others were injured on Monday in Israeli shelling and gunfire east of Khan Younis and Gaza City, in yet another Israeli ceasefire violation.

Local sources reported that Ala Mazen Abu Rida, 20, and Ahmed Abdel Rahim Sahmoud were killed, and a third person was wounded in an Israeli airstrike near a house in the Armidah area in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis.

Sources also confirmed the killing of Mahmoud Wael Al-Rifi in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, after he was shot by Israeli snipers positioned to the east of the city.

Meanwhile, one civilian was injured in Israeli artillery shelling on the Al-Shuja’iyya area in eastern Gaza City.

This comes as Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement. Since dawn, Israeli warplanes have carried out several airstrikes in eastern Khan Younis, accompanied by artillery fire.

Additionally, Israeli helicopters fired upon Rafah, in southern Gaza, during simultaneous airstrikes. Israeli forces also demolished several residential buildings east of Gaza City.

Since the ceasefire declaration on October 10, Israeli forces have committed hundreds of violations, leaving 340 killed and 871 injured.

The agreement ended a genocidal war launched by Israel on October 7, 2023, which lasted two years and resulted in nearly 70,000 killings, about 171,000 injuries, and massive destruction affecting 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure.
