Gaza Herald – Israel has carried out a new assault on eastern Gaza, violently expanding the so-called “yellow zone” by 300 meters and trapping dozens of families under tank fire, just hours after killing 25 Palestinians in yesterday’s massacre in Gaza City and Khan Younis, including an entire family erased from the civil registry, a father and his three children, and a husband and wife.
In a direct, blatant violation of the ceasefire, Israeli forces pushed into al-Shaaf, al-Nazzaz, and Baghdad streets, moving the markers of the yellow zone deeper into residential neighborhoods. Many families were unable to flee as tanks advanced without warning, and their fate remains unknown amid continuous shelling.
Gaza officials said this attack is part of nearly 400 documented ceasefire breaches, which have killed more than 300 Palestinians and wounded hundreds more since the agreement took effect, worsening catastrophic conditions for civilians confined to a shrinking, devastated strip of land under ongoing genocide.
The Gaza Government Media Office condemned the silence of mediators and guarantors, saying their inaction has emboldened Israel to escalate violations and starve the population by blocking essential food, shelter, medical supplies, and infrastructure materials. Officials urged all parties, including US President Donald Trump, to enforce the ceasefire, halt Israeli aggression, and protect civilians from further massacres.
