Gaza Herald – Human Rights Watch says Israel, as a state, is fully responsible for the crimes committed by its soldiers and officers during the ongoing genocide in Gaza, including those who issued the orders that enabled torture, executions, and large-scale attacks on civilians.
The organization warned that the international community continues to apply a “double standard” when it comes to Gaza, shielding Israel from accountability despite overwhelming evidence of systematic violations.
HRW stressed that legal pathways to justice still exist, and must be pursued, to hold Israeli commanders and political leaders criminally liable for genocide and war crimes against Palestinians.
