Israel Hands Over 15 More Palestinian Bodies, Mostly Still Unidentified

Gaza Herald – The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced it has received the bodies of 15 Palestinians from Israeli custody, bringing the total number of returned bodies to 315 since the start of the exchange process.

Only 91 of them have been identified, as Gaza’s forensic capacity remains crippled by Israel’s blockade and the destruction of medical infrastructure.

Health officials say most of the bodies show severe decomposition and damage, forcing families to rely on clothing fragments and visible marks for recognition. The majority remain unidentified and are being buried in mass graves, a grim reminder that even in death, Palestinians are denied dignity.
