Gaza Herald- Israel continues its genocidal assault on Gaza, carrying out new airstrikes and artillery attacks across Khan Younis, Rafah, and Gaza City, even as it claims to honor a ceasefire. Residential neighborhoods, schools sheltering displaced families, and entire housing blocks were targeted, leaving new casualties and widespread destruction.
Israel’s forces are also demolishing homes in Gaza City, forcing already displaced Palestinians into even greater uncertainty, as winter temperatures drop and families remain without adequate shelter. Local officials confirm that Israel has committed more than 194 ceasefire violations since the agreement was announced.
Humanitarian groups warn of a looming catastrophe as Israel continues to block the entry of essential shelter materials. Over 300,000 families urgently need new tents and temporary housing, but Israel has prevented the delivery of most supplies, allowing only 3,203 trucks into Gaza instead of the 13,200 agreed upon.
With winter approaching, Gaza faces starvation, mass displacement, disease outbreaks, and ongoing bombardment. More than 68,865 Palestinians have been killed and 170,670 injured since October 2023, while over 90% of the enclave lies in ruins under 200,000 tons of Israeli bombs dropped during the genocide.
