Gaza Herald – Renowned journalist Mohammed Al-Munirawi “Abu Waheed” from Palestine newspaper and his wife were killed when Israeli forces targeted his tent in the Saafin area of Abu Sarar, in the heart of the Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza.
Israel has repeatedly targeted journalists and media workers throughout its genocidal campaign, with more than 221 killed and hundreds injured while covering events, highlighting a systematic assault on press freedom and the right to document the atrocities.
Throughout the night, Gaza endured relentless Israeli bombardment, with rescue teams struggling through darkness to recover survivors. The toll from this latest assault has already reached 100 martyrs and dozens of injuries.
