100 Civilians Killed in 10-Hour Israeli Assault on Gaza

Gaza Herald – Israeli forces announced the resumption of the ceasefire in Gaza after a brutal 10-hour military operation that left more than 100 civilians killed, including around 35 children. The assault added another grim chapter to Israel’s ongoing genocide, leaving neighborhoods devastated and families wiped out in their homes.

Mahmoud Bassal, spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense, reported that these massacres occurred in under twelve hours, all witnessed by international mediators and the global community, which remains silent and inactive as the Palestinian bloodshed continues for over two years.

Civil defense teams have continued their humanitarian work, rescuing survivors and recovering the bodies of the martyrs from beneath the rubble despite severe shortages in equipment, medical supplies, and fuel. Hospitals are overwhelmed with critical cases, and civilians remain trapped under debris.

The situation in Gaza is a stark reminder of the international community’s moral failure. The Palestinian Civil Defence calls for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire, the opening of permanent humanitarian corridors, protection for civilians and rescue teams under international law, and a rapid international campaign to restore Gaza’s essential infrastructure and services.
