Gaza Herald – The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) has issued an urgent warning over its deteriorating financial situation, calling on Arab nations to immediately release their pledged funds to sustain vital humanitarian operations in Gaza.
According to the agency’s media adviser, more than 6,000 aid trucks loaded with food, medicine, and medical supplies remain stuck at Gaza’s crossings, awaiting Israeli approval. The spokesman warned that Israel may exploit the issue of captive remains as a pretext to continue obstructing humanitarian access.
He described Gaza as a city “erased from existence,” saying Israel’s genocidal war has obliterated entire neighborhoods and left millions dependent on aid that cannot reach them.
UNRWA stressed that without urgent funding and unrestricted access, the humanitarian system in Gaza could face total collapse within weeks.
