WHO Urges Urgent Medical Evacuations from Gaza as Thousands Face Life-Threatening Conditions

Gaza Herald – The World Health Organization (WHO) has sounded the alarm over Gaza’s collapsing health system, warning that more than 15,600 patients require immediate medical evacuation to save their lives.

The organization stressed the urgent need to reopen medical corridors out of the besieged Strip and to intensify disease surveillance amid the catastrophic humanitarian conditions caused by Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

WHO officials also revealed that over 15,000 Palestinians have lost limbs as a result of Israel’s relentless bombardment, leaving Gaza’s hospitals overwhelmed and lacking basic surgical supplies.

The agency emphasized that without swift international action to restore medical access and ensure safe evacuations, thousands more lives remain at imminent risk.
