Bulldozers Begin Clearing Gaza Wreckage After Genocide Ending

Gaza Herald – In the aftermath of two years of relentless Israeli bombardment and genocide, bulldozers have begun clearing the ruins of Gaza City.

Palestinian workers are racing against time to reopen roads and allow displaced families to reach what remains of their shattered homes.

Operator Ali al-Attar described the destruction as “beyond comprehension,” warning that even clearing access routes will take weeks with the few damaged machines available.

According to Gaza authorities, UN aerial data confirms that over 41,000 homes have been destroyed in Gaza City alone, leaving behind more than 8 million cubic meters of rubble. The scale of devastation highlights the catastrophic toll of the war, which wiped out entire neighborhoods and left Gaza’s infrastructure in ruins.

Local officials are urging international support for heavy machinery, fuel, and reconstruction materials. For hundreds of thousands of returning Palestinians, rebuilding Gaza from the ground up is not just recovery; it’s survival.
