Gaza Herald – Al-Shifa Medical Complex confirmed the death of a child in Gaza due to severe malnutrition and lack of treatment, underscoring the catastrophic humanitarian collapse gripping the enclave.
The tragedy highlights the deadly consequences of Israel’s ongoing blockade and systematic targeting of Gaza’s healthcare system, leaving hospitals unable to provide even the most basic care. Starvation, once unthinkable, has become a weapon of war against civilians.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza further warned of catastrophic challenges facing medical teams as hospitals run out of medicines and essential supplies. Officials said Israel’s obstruction of emergency medical shipments has compounded the famine for patients and the wounded.
According to health authorities, the famine death toll in Gaza has now climbed beyond 420, with children making up the overwhelming majority of the victims. Aid groups warn that without immediate and unrestricted humanitarian access, the numbers will continue to rise at an alarming pace.
