Gaza Herald – Doctors at Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital report horrific scenes as patients, many in critical condition, were forced to flee under relentless Israeli fire.
According to testimonies collected by the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, Israeli forces unleashed fire belts, incendiary weapons that ignite entire strips of land, and surrounded the hospital with explosive-laden vehicles, advancing from the north and east in a calculated military assault.
Medical staff said the bombardment paralyzed hospital operations, preventing doctors and nurses from reaching wards and leaving some killed in the attacks.
Dr. Hasan al-Sha’ir, Al-Shifa’s medical director, said staff are still working despite “overwhelming fear,” recalling previous sieges when Israeli forces executed and arrested medical personnel.
At least 100 patients remain trapped inside, struggling to survive amid catastrophic shortages of life-saving medicines and equipment, a man-made disaster inflicted by Israel’s deliberate targeting of Gaza’s largest hospital.
