Israel Strikes “Safe Zone” Tower in Central Gaza

Gaza Herald – Last night, Israeli forces bombed Tower 9 of the Ain Jalout complex in Al-Nuseirat, central Gaza, a building inhabited by long-time residents and displaced families. Israel had falsely declared Al-Nuseirat as one of the so-called “safe zones” and encouraged northern Gaza residents to relocate there. The airstrike destroyed the tower, forcing its residents into further displacement and homelessness.

This attack exposes the deadly lies behind Israel’s “safe zones.” Residential towers across Gaza continue to be targeted, proving that nowhere is truly safe. Civilians are trapped amid collapsing buildings and relentless bombardment, with no access to shelter, medical care, or protection.

Human rights observers warn that these so-called “safe zones” are a façade, part of a systematic campaign of displacement, destruction, and terror. The bombing of Tower 9 starkly illustrates the brutal reality: the occupation’s military operations deliberately endanger families while claiming humanitarian intent.
