Gaza Herald – In just one month, Israeli forces have leveled 1,600 residential buildings and destroyed over 13,000 tents, forcibly displacing more than 350,000 civilians from Gaza’s eastern neighborhoods to central and western areas. The Gaza Government Media Office calls this “clear evidence of war crimes, systematic ethnic cleansing, and genocide.”
The hardest-hit neighborhoods include Shuja’iyya, Zeitoun, Tuffah, Daraj, Northern and Southern Rimal, Tel al-Hawa, Sheikh Radwan, Al-Sabra, Al-Nasr, Al-Shati Camp, and Sheikh Ajleen, along with sub-sections such as Harazin, Turkman, and Al-Muntar in Shuja’iyya. Homes, schools, and displacement sites have been deliberately targeted, leaving unarmed civilians with no place to go.
The United Nations (UN) estimates indicate that over one million people lived in Gaza City before Israel escalated its assault in this genocide, targeting high-rise buildings and residential towers. Leaflets instructing evacuation have been dropped, yet airstrikes continue unabated. More than two million residents have been forced to flee repeatedly, with entire neighborhoods reduced to rubble.
UN has issued repeated warnings that the continuation of these attacks risks a full-scale humanitarian catastrophe, urging the international community to intervene immediately to protect civilians and prevent further loss of life.
