Gaza Herald- Israeli forces intensified their attacks on the Gaza Strip overnight, conducting widespread airstrikes and demolition operations targeting residential areas across northern, central, and southern Gaza. The assaults have left dozens dead and many others wounded.
In northern Gaza, Israeli forces carried out demolition operations in Jabalia al-Balad and Jabalia al-Nazla, detonating explosives in residential buildings and a booby-trapped robot. Drone strikes also hit homes on Al-Saftawi Street and near Sheikh Radwan Clinic in northern Gaza City, killing a child and injuring others in the Zaqout family home.
In Gaza City, Israeli warplanes and helicopters launched multiple airstrikes, including an attack on an apartment near Al-Ghafri Junction on Al-Jalaa Street, killing one Palestinian and wounding two others. Another apartment in Beach Camp on the coastal road was struck, causing additional injuries, while a strike on the Al-Dahshan family home in Sabra neighborhood killed seven Palestinians and injured others. Several residential buildings were also destroyed in Al-Zaytoun southeast of the city.
Increasing Massive bombardment
Central Gaza saw intense air and artillery strikes targeting Deir al-Balah, Al-Nuseirat, Al-Bureij, Al-Mughazi, and Al-Masdar. An airstrike hit a displaced persons’ shelter on Akila Street in Deir al-Balah, killing two women and injuring several others. Nearby, shelling around Al-Bassa Street left additional casualties.
In Al-Bureij Camp, an Israeli strike destroyed the home of the Abu Zubeida family, killing several members and injuring others, followed by further bombardment in the area. In western Al-Nuseirat, two members of the Al-Dayya family were killed when a tent was struck in the Al-Sawaraha area. Additional tents housing displaced families near Al-Sawaraha School were hit in successive strikes. Northern Al-Nuseirat and regions east of Al-Masdar village were also targeted, as well as surroundings of Al-Mughazi Camp.
In southern Gaza, Israeli helicopters opened fire on northern Khan Younis. At the same time, airstrikes hit the Mawasi area, killing six Palestinians in a tent used by displaced families on Al-Tina Street, including five members of the Ka’wara family. Bombardment continued across other displaced persons’ shelters in the region.
Monday’s toll across Gaza reached 89 Palestinians killed, including six journalists, amid the ongoing Israeli assault. Humanitarian sources warn of escalating civilian casualties and widespread destruction across densely populated areas.
